Nicole Burke of Hermosa Beach Sister Cities will be presenting more detail about their programs in Loreto Baja Mexico including fire rescue training and important fundraising toward badly needed equipment. Rotary is on deck and several clubs joining hands to support. Hermosa Beach Rotary Club Foundation already provided partial funding for two trainings right now in Loreto: 1) Advanced Rope Rescue and Extractions and 2) Basic Fire Investigations
Today, Hermosa Beach Sister City Association, is asking for support for the purchase of a Fire Truck for Loreto.
Hermosa Beach donated TWO Fire trucks to Loreto 20 years ago. Only one is still in service for the ENTIRE municipality of Loreto, a huge area that where the farthest reaches are over 2 hours away from town
