Joseph Perez Honored
Joseph proudly displays his Student of the Month Certificate next to his father Xavier, President Angie, and Assistant HVS Principal Alison. Joseph's father described his son as naturally very disciplined to master whatever skill he choses to learn, He is playing Flute in the school band, loves to skateboard and in school Math is his favorite subject. Congratulations, Joseph!
Rotary Honors Victoria Gathercole
Victoria is surrounded by her proud family, brother Henry and mom & dad Veronica and Chris as she accepts her Student of the Month Certificate. Victoria loves Ballet, including helping younger students with their poses and movement. She participates in Jr. Guards every summer, and in school loves reading and math.
Troop 860 Eagle Scout Court of Honor
Hermosa Rotary was proud to attend the 2025 Eagle Scout Court of Honor in the newly refurbished Clark Building. During the past year, this important milestone was reached by Paul Carson, Trey Claypoole and Matthew Henry. Led by Scoutmaster Steve Staso, and supported by Assistant Scoutmasters, parents and other volunteers, these three young men now join the ranks of others who have reached this highest rank in scouting. As Troop 860's Chartering Organization, Hermosa Rotary is proud to congratulate Paul, Trey and Matthew.

Celebrating the accomplishments of two South Bay Clubs, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach, Governor Alex energized those in attendance with his life story and his passion for Rotary which was inspired by his mother's selfless dedication to overcoming obstacles while helping others in need. Alex's enthusiasm for his "Superheros" and the LA Dodgers animate his energetic personality as our District Governor.

Venture Crew 860 is one of the units of Troop 860, emphasizing high adventure, leadership, service and personal growth. It is an older co-ed unit where scouts take the lead in planning their adventures, this time at Sea Base. Here Scouts sailed, fished, snorkeled, camped-out and biked for an unforgettable Scouting experience. Congratulations to Venture Crew 860!
