In a ceremony at the July 28 City Council Meeting, Hermosa Rotary President Cole Mueller presented a $4,000 check to K9 Armor Founder Suzanne Sanders. By pre-arrangement Arco had received his vest and with Officer Torres proudly modeled his new protection. Chief Phillips thanked Rotary and HBPD Management Analyst & Rotarian Joanne Loeza for making this happen. Mayor Detoy presented President Cole with a citation recognizing Rotary's contribution to the community.

At Hermosa' Rockefeller Gastropub, President Cole held court while we enjoyed summer libations and the restaurant's unpublicized $2 Tuesday Burger. We were pleased to meet Rachel & Dylan who recently moved from Ohio and are looking for ways to get involved in Hermosa Beach. Also, thank you to Honorary Members Laura and Neil for joining us.
