28 Jan. 2025 Program by Ambassadorial Scholar, Yo Oshima Jan. 28, 2025 12:15 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. Ambassadorial Scholar, Yo Oshima, returns to his host Club, Hermosa Beach to report on his progress. In 2002, Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar, Yo Oshima arrived from Japan, in Los Angeles to attend Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc), in pursuit of a master’s degree. Hermosa Beach Rotary was his host club. Twenty two years later, Yo is a multifaceted designer and college instructor at Art Center College of Design, where he inspires the next generation of creative thinkers. As a former Ambassadorial Scholar, Yo brings a global perspective to his work and teaching, fostering cross-cultural understanding and collaboration in design.
